Diablo Chafing Fuel is known for the consistent heat output provided by its unique patented wick design.  Diablo's fiberglass wick was engineered and designed with copper filaments interwoven throughout the wick to hold the strand of fiberglass together and to provide a thermal transfer.

When the wick is ignited the strands of copper pre-heat the Diethylene glycol to provide a higher BTU output.  As the DEG capillaries up the wick the copper filaments heat the DEG and lower the viscosity of the fuel.  When the DEG reaches the burn zone, 100% of the fuel is combusted emitting no unburned oils or toxins into the environment.  Diablo Chafing fuel maintains temperatures between 200 F - 205 F.

 CONSISTENCY OF HEAT

Unlike other chafing fuels, Diablo maintains a consistent heat output.  Alcohol based fuels like Sterno® and Handy Fuel® burn into the can.  The aluminum can acts as a heat sink and retains the heat inside the can.  This causes inconsistent heat output and fluctuating water pan temperatures.

Diablo's wide wick is positioned at the top of the can, and the fuel capillaries to the burn zone.  The Diablo flame is always at the top of the can providing consistent heat output and temperatures in excess of 200 F.  Diablo has proven to be the hottest and most consistent chafing fuel in the world today.

SAFETY

Diablo is classified as product class 65.  Unlike alcohol-based fuels, Diablo is non-hazardous to ship and store.  With a flashpoint in excess of 287O F, Diablo can go by land, sea, or air without restrictions or special documentation.

As previously mentioned, the flame is always at the top of the Diablo can, keeping the can cool to touch.  The competitor’s can maintains the heat inside the can, causing the aluminum can to be violently hot and dangerous to touch.  Diablo stay cool and allows the buffet line to be properly managed.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND BENEFITS

SCREW DOWN CAP

All Diablo sizes come equipped with a screw down cap for shipping, storage, and re-seal ability.  After the function, reseal the cap on the can and store.  It is important the cap is tight to eliminate moisture from penetrating the wick.  Using the cap will save approximately 25% - 30% in annual chafing fuel costs.

ODORLESS

As previously mentioned, 100% combustion occurs when burning Diablo Chafing Fuel.  Due to the complete combustion, no odor is released into the air.  This is very beneficial to eliminate offending patrons and tainting food.
